Great Gifts for Book Lovers

Though readers love to receive books, it can sometimes feel uninspired to give them a novel for the sixteenth gift giving occasion in a row. In that case, it can be nice to look into other bookish gifts. I’ve listed a few fun ones below.

Scratch-Off Book Chart – For people who plan to make a new year’s resolution about reading more books, Pop Chart Lab’s scratch-off book chart is a great gift that will allow them to keep track of how many of the 100 Essential Novels they’ve read.

Library Card Prints – Or perhaps you have a friend who loves libraries in which case Rachel Hershfield’s library card art prints will fit the bill.

Literary Tea.jpgLiterary Tea – Maybe a hot liquid would be more to your gift receiver’s taste. You can give him or her one of First Edition Tea Co.’s literary teas.

Banned Books Tote.jpg

Banned Book Tote – For the reader who has strong feelings about censorship, this banned book tote is a great way to show support of literature like Of Mice and MenThe Heart of Darkness, and James and the Giant Peach. (If you are interested, you can also read up on the history of banned books. There is
some fascinating info out there!)

There are a tons of bookish presents in the world. I hope you enjoy exploring them! (And really, who am I kidding? Giving books to book lovers is always fine. Maybe just give them an extra bookshelf as well.)

    1. Oh, no! I must have missed it. Did it go through the contact form? I can’t seem to find it in my email. I’ll pop over to your site, and send a message through that so that you have my email. I’m so sorry that we missed each other. I don’t know what happened there.

      1. I get serious about it at Halloween and try to wrap everything up the weekend after Thanksgiving, although things pop up. Husband hates crowds so we avoid stores in December. For family I buy things in the January after-Christmas sales. It’s more work but less stress in the season and easier on the wallet also (because purchases are spread out over many months).
